I started my career in 1997 as a freelance textile designer selling original artwork to the clothing and homeware sectors. After a career of 25 years in the fashion and textile industries, I rediscovered my passion for painting with oil onto canvas.

My art chiefly explores my response to shape, light and form. My work is about my reaction to how paint moves and feels on a canvas surface. I am fascinated how traditional methods of painting can transport a two-dimensional representation into a more tangible world.
